Google’s new penalty – the number 6 SERP!

First decide on your focus in regards of link-building. Each focus has to have a core phrase like “Hotel in Barcelona”, then build further links to your site by making sure that there are different but related keywords for the links to the site (Anchor). If you overuse the same link text – Anchor text, your in the danger of Google discovering the “manipulation”.

If you however use different but related keywords, then ranking algorithms will consider your deep-pages relevant to the relevant topic. and/or search phrase.

For me the key question is when is link-building manipulation and when is it not?

Even Google breaks down

This happened when I tried to access my AdWords, even Google breaks down. They even let me know is some 30 languages, but where is my Icelandic?

Only one thing to say, check out The Wikiscanner while it is there

The Wikiscanner is a great tool to work with and see how self centered companies, people or competitors are using the Wiki to edit them selfs and or their competitors. Appel edits Microsoft, Microsoft edits Apple, Dell edits Apple and Pepsi edits them selfs.

What happens? to put it short “public relations disasters”. Like when someone at the Washington Post edited Georgs Bush profile adding jerk, jerk, jerk, jerk, jerk…

And where can you find all of this?

Have you seen the adCenter Blog Nostalgia?

Google up 6% YoY in the US

Google only seams to be getting stronger. While the others have improved greatly, that is MSN, Yahoo and ASK they are just lacking the pull to get some traffic. The results are getting better and better and actually in some tests that I have done I’ve gotten more relevant results on MSN than Google to my search. Google is still the most Iceland friendly search engine, but MSN has the best maps of my country.

According to Hitwise, Google accounted for 64.49 percent of all U.S. searches in the four weeks ended October 27, 2007, while Yahoo Search, MSN Search and accounted for 21.65 percent, 7.42 percent and 4.76 percent of searches, respectively.

Where will it end?
