Comparing Google Analytics and Yahoo Web Anlytics

Been looking at a way to compare Google Analytics and Yahoo Web Analytics and was pointed towards a post at Insightr. Little bit like them my company helps clients using various analytics tools and like them we are constantly being asked about the difference between them.

Nordic eMarketing has been working with Google Analytics for a long time as well as being a pioneer member of the Yahoo Web Analytics Consultant Network (YWACN), we were a part of the first patch selected. Our Analytics clients use a mixture of Google Analytics, Omniture Site Catalyst, WebTrends, Teljari (Local player) and Yahoo Web Analytics, with the majority of new businesses adopting either GA or YWA.

Here is a great article on this matter, Should you go Google or Yahoo?

  1. Hey there,

    that is pretty impressive that yahoo is offering the better web analytics tool rather then Google does. I just thought Google is the leader in alomost everything!
    I think my company will use the YWA in future, better dashboard and better presentation.
    Thanks for the slides ;
    Cheers Frank
