Facebook uses messaging, do they consider this to not be email? They also use email accounts to set up facebook accounts using the address book you already have. I don´t think Email is dying - possibly for teenagers it is because what do they have to talk about? They don´t write each other lengthy emails, of course they use instant messaging and social networks. Look at who does use it, business people, people buying and selling online, families living on the other side of the world from each other - these people won´t stop using it. To even consider it is ludicrous.
