Special prices for Econsultancy members attending the 2010 Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference. 

This year’s Reykjavik Internet Marketing Conference will be exploring the possibilities created by employing structured promotional approaches and focused advertising campaigns through the use of Internet and Mobile Marketing and Advertising. The events main themes will be Mobile Marketing and Ecommerce through Internet Marketing.

The event will be hosting two keynote speakers on Mobile marketing and Technology: Allen McCaskill, Director of Media Solutions at Ericsson, the Swedish phone giant and Ashley Friedlein CEO, Econsultancy as part of the marketing mix for Internet Marketing.

Saw some great session and did couple my self one on the basics of link-bulidning and one on Online Reputation Management and PR.
The earlier was done with six speakers sharing the session, three from agencies and three from the search engines. In this case Microsoft, Yahoo and ASK.

After being at the Reykjavik Internet Marketing conference last week and having Adam Lasnik from Google comment on the usage of links for visibility and how they play a role in visibility online and then here the comments from my colleagues in the panel on the same topic It was great to get confirmation that me and my team at Nordic eMarketing have a strong knowledge on link-building and the affect that has on search engine marketing, both in English and the other languages we have been working over the past years.

Great group of speakers, but for my test little to many for such a short session.

My other session was on Online PR and Reputation Management, this was a session with five speakers, two lawyers and three from agencies.
The session started with Lee Odden, whom I have had the pleasure speaking with before and it ended up with me on the panel talking about preliminary findings in a research Nordic eMarketing is doing understanding the behavior of journalists and other stakeholders after a distribution of ePR or news.

The research was done in cooperation with eNewsWire and the IceNews network over a period of twelve months where we studied the impact of over 200 articles and ePR releases.

On Wednesday night me and my wife had a great pleasure in taking Mel Carson and the team at Microsoft up on his invitation for a dinner where I meet some of my good friends in the SEM industry such as Chris Sherman and Anne Kennedy. Chris I am expecting to meet again at the SMX in London a must see show for anybody that wants to get up to speed with anything search engine marketing related.

Conference guests are back from lunch and RIMC jas started again and is looking good.

we are sold out, it’s as simple as that. The last ticket was sold yesterday and it looks like a great conference. Both with the people attending and also the speaker line-up.
